Here we are, five weeks in to a six-week challenge, and I can finally say it’s coming together! Yay! For this challenge, Jeffrey Court Home generously provided up to 200 square feet of their tile of our choice. And you know how much we ordered? You guessed it, all 200 square feet!! Let me tell you, my husband has been laying tile nonstop for almost a week! He’s almost done and ready to get out, err- I mean grout. Haha.

Can’t wait to see how this looks once it’s grouted!

He really wanted to tile all the walls, in addition to the shower and the floors. He comprimsed by only going to chair rail heights, which I like better. I don’t think he will do that again. Lol. But we are loving the look!

Once we get the white grout on the subway tile, the wall tile will disappear into the background and won’t compete with the gorgeous carrara and nickel floors, our feature tile.

The small hexagon honed carrara is a terrific non-slip solution for the shower floor. I love the way it feels under my feet! Our walnut vanity drawers will add contrast, and so will the matte black fixtures. We are SO excited to be in the home stretch and can’t wait to show you the finished room next week!!
